A mailbox is an email account with an address, such as alex@example.com. It sends messages, receives replies and stores mail.
The domain is example.com. The mailbox is the individual account using that domain. A mailbox slot is subscription capacity you can assign to an account; it is not the same as a permanent email address.
Using a sending.ac mailbox
Connect your sequencer through the sending.ac dashboard. Supported integrations use the Microsoft connection process; other platforms may use IMAP/SMTP with additional setup and monitoring limitations.
Use the settings assigned to your account. Prepare new mailboxes for at least 3 weeks before campaigns, and do not increase daily activity above the configured limits.
Keep mailbox credentials and exported connection files private. If you need to replace or remove a mailbox, review the data and campaign consequences first and ask support if you are unsure.
