Spintax is a way to supply alternative words or sentences so a supported sending tool can choose a version.
For example, {Hi|Hello} can produce either greeting. Syntax differs between platforms, so use your sequencer's documentation and preview the final messages.
✅ Use it carefully
- Keep every variation grammatical and truthful.
- Preserve the same offer, facts and meaning.
- Test personalised fields and fallback values.
- Avoid complicated nested patterns that create broken sentences.
- Use genuinely different, natural phrasing rather than only swapping synonyms in an otherwise identical template. Review every rendered version before launch.
Variations can help you test wording, but they are not a substitute for relevant targeting and meaningful personalization. They do not guarantee inbox placement or make unwanted email acceptable.
