Warm-up Settings and Limits

Prepare new mailboxes for at least three weeks and keep your configured limits.

Warm-up is a period of controlled mailbox activity before you start campaigns. It helps establish a sending history while you prepare your audience and content.

⏳ Minimum preparation period

Allow new sending.ac mailboxes to warm up for at least 3 weeks before campaigns. This applies even when the domain has been registered for a long time: the new mailbox still needs preparation.

On supported sequencers, warm-up is configured as part of the connection process. Leave those settings in place. Unsupported sequencers require you to follow the warm-up instructions supplied for your inbox group.

When campaigns start

Keep warm-up and outreach within the configured 12-email combined daily limit per mailbox. The recommended campaign setting is 2 emails per mailbox per day.

Do not launch test campaigns early or speed up warm-up by raising limits. If the dashboard's countdown or readiness date differs from this guidance, ask support to confirm before starting.

Warm-up time alone does not guarantee readiness or inbox placement. List quality, authentication and responsible sending still matter.

Keep one warm-up setup

Do not run the same mailbox through a second warm-up tool or workspace to speed things up. Both setups add activity to the same mailbox. Keep the assigned settings and ask support before changing them.

A healthy warm-up score describes the warm-up emails, not your campaign copy. If campaigns land in spam while warm-up looks healthy, share the exact campaign text and results with support so they can be reviewed separately.

Need an earlier start?

Prewarmed mailboxes are a separate option arranged with our team, subject to availability. Ask support to review the options and current terms before committing. They still follow the normal sending limits; do not skip preparation on standard new mailboxes.
