Connect Smartlead through Sequencer accounts in your sending.ac dashboard, then add the connection to your inbox group.
Prepare your connection
- Open Settings -> API Key Management in Smartlead.
- Create an admin API key for the sending.ac integration and copy it securely.
- Use the login details for that Smartlead account.
Connect in sending.ac
- Choose Smartlead under Sequencer accounts.
- Enter the requested login and API-key details in the dashboard.
- Choose Validate & connect and select the correct workspace where requested.
- On your inbox group, choose Add sequencer and save.
Your sending.ac connection uses the Smartlead account you validate.
Uploads can take up to 24 hours. Check the uploaded count and status rather than connecting the same mailboxes repeatedly.
Warm-up and limits
Allow at least 3 weeks of warm-up before campaigns and keep the settings applied to your account. Generic sending limits from another platform do not replace your sending.ac configuration.
Warm-up on Smartlead is ramped more carefully at the start. Ask support to confirm the timeline for your inbox group. Keep the assigned configuration and confirm readiness before starting campaigns.
Keep passwords and API keys private. If validation fails, check the key, login, account capacity and workspace, then report the exact error to support. For two-step-login issues, ask support about the supported connection flow; do not disable security simply to try to bypass an error.
