Special Warmup & Upload Protocol
We currently don’t recommend warming the mailboxes on Smartlead right away. During the first days of warmup, the outbound volume must be very tightly controlled. One email on the first day, two on the second day, etc.
This doesn’t work well with Smartlead at the moment. The volume tends to be too high.
This is why we will warm the mailboxes on our side for the first 10 days and then upload the mailboxes to your Smartlead account and enable the warmup on Smartlead.
We understand this might not be desirable in all cases. Maybe your customer expects to see the mailboxes after they paid for them. Maybe you want to run some tests. We understand.
Please reach out to your Deliverability Advisor. We will find a solution — like uploading to Smartlead, but with warmup left off until it’s safe to enable.
